The system works by generating hydrogen (HHO) on demand while you’re driving and injecting it into your fuel system.

So how does it generate the HHO?

Well it’s quite ingenious really and was discovered over 100 years ago that we could generate what was coined as ‘Browns Gas’ by using electricity and water.  Without getting to technical here, what happens is that when you mix electricity within water using some form of electrode, it splits the 2 molecules of water into 2 atoms of hydrogen + one Oxygen pair.  People sometimes call this hydrogen Gas but it’s actually HHO which stands for the two atoms of hydrogen + 1 Oxygen pair giving us the H+H+O gas.

This gas burns very efficiently and provides a huge amount of energy.  This entire process is done via a device called an Electrolyzer or Hydrogen Generator and the gas or vapor it produces is sometimes called ‘Browns Gas’ or ‘Rhodes Gas’ which was discovered by William A Rhodes and Professor Yull Brown.

What’s important for you to know is that once the vapor has been injected within your engine, it burns much more efficiently than just your normal gasoline vapor and when it’s mixed with your gasoline vapor you in turn use less gas.  This is why you can double your gas mileage using this and other devices which work with the electrolyzer.

Not only does it help you to use less gasoline, but it improves how your engine runs, allowing you to use less fuel and at the same time generate more power.

Now this is just a short discussion about how this works but in a very generic and nutshell way of saying it, this is what is happening when you use the Water4Gas system.
